Country singer Priscilla Block, 30, has emerged as one of music’s most relatable new voices, turning personal hardship into empowerment through her heartfelt lyrics. Twice nominated for New Female Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards, Block gained national attention with her platinum-certified hit “Just About Over You”, which earned a CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year nomination in 2022.

Now, Block returns with her second studio album, “Things You Didn’t See”, a deeply personal project featuring the title track that invites fans into unseen parts of her life. In an interview with ABC, she shared a lot about her journey.
“This record was my chance to let people in on parts of my life they don’t know,” Block said. “I’m very open online, but there are insecurities, love stories, and struggles people haven’t seen. Everyone hides something beneath the surface.”
Before her breakout success, Block nearly gave up on her dreams. At 17, she moved to Nashville with only fifty dollars and faced financial and emotional hardships. A chance encounter changed everything.
“I was ready to go home,” she recalled. “That day I was wearing a Taylor Swift t-shirt, and Taylor actually stopped her car to say she loved it. I didn’t tell her I did music — I just said thank you. That small moment gave me hope. I quit my job, left school, and decided to go all in.”

Today, her determination has paid off. With over 700 million global streams and five million loyal followers, Block has become a rising force in country music.
“You can’t let anyone change who you are,” she said. “Everyone’s story is powerful. Things started happening when I stopped trying to be the next Taylor Swift and started being unapologetically Priscilla. You’ve got to want it, work for it, and keep knocking on doors. If someone tells you no, you’re just asking the wrong person.”
Fans can stream “Things You Didn’t See” now on all major platforms. Priscilla Block’s tour kicks off next week.
