Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen joins Prince William on his environmental mission, serving as judge for this year’s Earthshot Prize winners.

The Earthshot Prize celebrates bold, innovative ideas tackling world’s toughest environmental problems. It rewards those showing resilience and ingenuity amid crises, highlighting inspiring solutions for urgent issues.
People confirmed that Bündchen works alongside a star-studded council including broadcaster and conservationist Sir David Attenborough, actress Cate Blanchett, chef José Andrés and World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. As first Brazilian member, her addition proves timely: the awards ceremony arrives Nov. 5 in Rio de Janeiro.
Prince William attends events around the ceremony in Rio, then heads to Belém, Brazil, on Nov. 6 for the United Nations climate summit.
Bündchen calls joining Prince William’s mission an honor. She joins the judging panel.
