Heartbreaking news from Hollywood. “The Wire” actor Bobby J. Brown has passed away at age 62 following a tragic barn fire.

Authorities confirmed the cause of death was smoke inhalation and thermal injury. The fire was an accident, reportedly sparked while he was jump-starting a vehicle inside the barn.
Beyond his iconic role as Officer Bobby Brown on HBO’s The Wire, he was a former amateur boxer with five Golden Glove Championships under his belt.
Brown’s agent, Albert Bramante, also spoke out about his tragic passing, telling TMZ, “I am upset and saddened. He was such a good actor and person. He was totally dedicated to the craft of acting and was a joy to work with.”
His agent remembered him as a joy to work with and deeply dedicated to his craft. He leaves behind his children and a legacy in television. Rest in peace, Bobby.
